CHEVELLE Already Working On New Material
January 9, 2008The Pulse of Radio reports: CHEVELLE plans to hit the road again as the Chicago trio continues to support its 2007 album, "Vena Sera". The band has been home since early December and drummer Sam Loeffler told The Pulse of Radio that they've started working on new material at frontman Pete Loeffler's house. "We have, like, a writing studio at his house, which is great, because we're just able to just sit back, try ideas, and drink some booze at the bar, that kind of thing," he said. "When we actually get it sort of together, we'll go to our regular rehearsal studio and start to, like, lay down basically what would be demos."
The upcoming tour will also feature FINGER ELEVEN.
"Vena Sera" is CHEVELLE's fourth album and features the current single, "I Get It". The next track to head to rock radio will be "The Fad".
The CD marked the recording debut of bassist Dean Bernardini. He replaced Joe Loeffler, brother of Sam and Pete.
CHEVELLE has confirmed only one date so far in 2008, in January 31 at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
